This Tympanum, The Ascension of Christ and the Mission of the Apostles, is the central portal of La Madeleine in VŽzelay, France. The Tympanum was carved around 1120 A.D. and is of Romanesque style. (A) is a full view picture of the portal while (B) is a close up of the Tympanum itself.
